Abstract
A tyrosyl peptide from the ligand-binding site of the dinitrophenyl-binding myeloma IgA of mouse MOPC 315 was isolated following paired-iodination. It was found to be derived from the heavy chain and not the light chain and thus must involve a different tyrosine than the light chain tyrosine (tyrosine 34) reported by Goetzl and Metzger (Biochemistry, 9:3862, 1970) and by Haimovich et al. (Biochemistry, 11: 2389, 1972).Keywords
