Occurrence of Tricellula Inaequalis in the United States

Abstract
T. inaequalis, recently described as a new genus and species in the Moniliales on the basis of a single isolate from Norwegian air, was trapped twice on air-sampling agar plates in and near Atlanta, Georgia. A brief description is given of the colonies on different media and of the characteristic branched conidiophores bearing tricornate, tricellular spores.
