Abstract
Epidermodysplasia verruciformis is an uncommon cutaneous entity characterized by persistent human papillomavirus infection. A defect in cell-mediated immunity is the suggested causative factor. Numerous specific human papillomavirus types have been detected in this disease. Multiple nonmelanoma skin cancers are commonly seen in such patients; thus, early diagnosis is beneficial. Keywords
