Abstract
Natural frost conditions in a watercress bed were simulated by adapting a commercial chest freezer as a frost chamber. The temperature control mechanism, which is variable and described in detail, provided a cooling rate up to 10°C h-1 from any initial temperature down to a minimum of –10°C.This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
