Abstract
An IgG1 monoclonal antibody generated from a mouse infected with Cryptococcus neoformans modified the course of intravenous cryptococcal infection in A/J mice by prolonging survival and reducing lung fungal burden, brain mass, and serum polysaccharide levels. The results demonstrate that C. neoformans infection can elicit useful antibodies. Keywords
