Abstract
Thermal-conductivity measurements on deformed superconducting samples of Pb and Ta have demonstrated the resonant scattering of thermal phonons from dislocations. The results are in good agreement with calculations based on the elastic-string model of localized modes associated with dislocations. Keywords
