Abstract
Circular dichroism spectra of fluorenyllithium, benzyllithium, diphenylmethyllithium, triphenylmethyllithium, and 1,1-diphenylhexyllithium were measured in the presence of chiral tertiary diamines, (−)-sparteine, (+)- and (−)-2,3-dimethoxy-1,4-bis(dimethylamino)butane. All the carbanions showed induced circular dichroism (ICD) in nonpolar mediums. Keywords
