Abstract
The technique of Addis for the quantitative mensuration of protein, casts and cells in the urine has been applied to 14 cases of scarlet fever. All cases showed moderate transient increases in the excretion of protein and formed elements 8-45 days after onset of scarlet fever. The relation of these changes to true postscar-latinal nephritis is discussed. Keywords
