Abstract
The hyperfine structure of high Rydberg states of was studied for principal quantum numbers . The hyperfine interaction causes a strong singlet-triplet mixing between levels with the same total angular momenta but different quantum numbers . Semiempirical calculations show excellent agreement with experiment.
