Adaptive Sensitivity / Intelligent Scan Image Processor

Abstract
Novel image processor architectures are presented. The architectures are designed to take advantage of the advanced concepts of Adaptive Sensitivity and Intelligent Scan, and, in particular, of the new sensors described in the companion paper. The processors are capable of manipulating selective visual data sets, which are generated by Intelligent Scan sensors. They are organized in feedback adaptive forms, exhibiting performance superior to conventional, feedforward architectures.© (1988) COPYRIGHT SPIE--The International Society for Optical Engineering.
