Abstract
Recher. H. F. 1972. Territorial and agonistic behaviour of the Reef Heron. Emu 72: 126–130. Agonistic behaviour and displays are described for foraging Reef Herons Egretta sacra. Displays are simple and arc basically the same as described for other species and genera of herons. Reef Herons defend foraging territories and this behaviour may be restricted to breeding birds.Keywords
