Abstract
The main determinants of suitability for vaginal hysterectomy for benign uterine pathology in the medically stable patient are uterine mobility and adequate vaginal exposure. The removal of a 2,003-g fibroid uterus by total vaginal hysterectomy by morcellation in a woman suffering from severe menometrorraghia is reported. Keywords
