Abstract
Twelve adult, sexually inactive [male] Citellus tridecem-lineatus arenicola were given daily implants of rat pituitary. After 4 implants there was marked increase in the size of the testes and seminiferous tubules, and an advance in spermatogenesis. After 8-16 implants there was further increase in the above, and a marked increase in the prostate, Cowper''s gland, seminal vesicles. The glands showed an advance in cellular development, indicating a change from rest to activity. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
