Abstract
In September 1923 I was asked by Dr. C. M. Wenyon to undertake the breeding of the tick, Ornithodorus moubata, female specimens of which were sent to the Wellcome Bureau by Dr. Kelesberger from the Belgian Congo. This gave me an opportunity of carrying out a series of experimental investigations on the biology of the tick which were continued till August 1924.
