Errors in helium vapour pressure thermometry

Abstract
An experiment is described which shows that a 4He vapour pressure bulb gives a falsely high measure of temperature below 2.2° K owing to the Kapitza resistance at the solid-liquid interface. Means of avoiding this error are discussed.Keywords
