Abstract
Glazed specimens of a commercial semivitreous body were fired according to a production tunnel‐kiln schedule, and draw trials were taken out and quenched at frequent temperature intervals. Thin sections of these specimens were examined with a petrographic microscope for a determination of the constituents in the glaze and at the interface. The volume of the bubbles, undissolved feldspar, and undissolved quartz were measured for each temperature. Keywords
