Abstract
The main results of the theory of seignette-magnetism are presented. The data on crystalline structure, phase transitions and the properties of more than 70 different seignette-magnetic compounds are reported. Some experimental data on the interaction between dielectric and magnetic properties of seignette-magnets are presented. Their possible applications are considered and ways of finding and synthesizing new seignette-magnetic compounds are discussed. Keywords
