Abstract
The data examined during this study indicate that within the Antennaria alpina group in western North America only A. alpina var. media, A. microphylla, and A. umbrinella should be considered as distinct taxa. The numerous minor variants previously recognized by some taxonomists should be reduced to synonomy since examination of large amounts of material, from throughout western North America, defy further taxonomic segregation. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
