Abstract
The effect of subliminal and supraliminal accessory stimulation (white noise) on 2 dynamic perceptual illusions was investigated. Only the most extreme subliminal stimulation (30 db below threshold) was effective, significantly increasing the number of illusory experiences. The effect was consistent across Ss and perceptual conditions. Both the magnitude and the direction of the effect could be supported by previous research. Keywords
