Abstract
A female specimen of Shelfordia ruficeps Cameron is designated as lectotype. Sigalphogastra ashmeadl Cameron, male. is congeneric with Shelfordia ruficeps Cameron. Sigalphogostra is a junior synonym of shelfordla. Two species originally described as Bracon by Smith and subsequently transferred to Sigalphiogastra by Baltazar (1969) are transferred to Shelfordia Cameron. Notes are provided on the genera Merinotus Szepligeti, Cratobracon Cameron, Gronaulax Cameron. Heliobracon Telenga and Trachybracon Szepligeti to facilitate their indentification.Keywords
