Abstract
Dieldrin granules applied at the rate of 0.3 lb. (technical)/acre greatly reduced populations of larval salt marsh Tabanus. In an isolated 105-acre salt marsh, this reduction was reflected in reduced adult populations. In a larger plot of 232 acres, contiguous with untreated salt marsh the reduction in larval populations was not reflected in reduced adult populations. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
