Abstract
We show experimentally that, by placing a thin Permalloy layer in intimate contact with a garnet film, hard bubbles can be suppressed. The suppression is due to exchange coupling between the Permalloy layer and the bubble walls. When the Permalloy layer is separated from the garnet film by a thin insulation layer, intermediate bubbles are observed. This publication has 7 references indexed in Scilit:
