Abstract
Two further specimens of Chamaeleo kinetensis SCHMIDT, 1943, formerly known only from the holotype, are described. C. bitaeniatus FISCHER, 1884 has been found at the same locality representing the first record for the Sudan and the first record of sympatry of both species. The full specific rank of these forms is also supported by lung and hemipenial morphology, and the same applies to C. ellioti GÜNTHER, C. hoehnelii STEINDACHNER and C. schubotzi STERNFELD. C. schoutedeni LAURENT is also ranked as a full species, because of its aberrant lung structure and its occurence in Ruanda (first record), which implies a sympatry with C. rudis BOULENGER.Keywords
