Abstract
Oligo(ADP-ribose) preparations with chain lengths of 3-10 ADP-ribose units were fractionated [from a rat liver nuclei preparation] according to their chain lengths and their terminal structures by hydroxylapatite column chromatography and polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis. The peak fractions from the hydroxylapatite column were each separated into 2 distinct subfractions by gel electrophoresis. The 2 subfractions differed in chain length and terminal structure. A linear correlation was observed between the mobility and the logarithm of the chain length of oligo(ADP-ribose) on gel electrophoresis, irrespective of the terminal structure. This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
