Abstract
Little has been published about filariasis in the Dominican Republic, but a review of local studies shows that Wuchereria bancrofti is endemic in a number of southern cities including San Pedro de Macoris, Santo Domingo, San Cristobal and Barahona. Masonella ozzardi also is probably endemic. Keywords
