Abstract
This report describes a young woman with Cushing's syndrome who became pregnant after the disease had been present for more than a year. Diagnostic studies suggested that an adrenal tumor was present. The patient was operated upon when she was 4½ months pregnant and the left adrenal, which contained a small adenoma, was removed. After surgery all evidence of Cushing's syndrome gradually disappeared. Three months and 10 days after the operation the patient delivered a normal infant, who weighed 1,660 g. The child, who is now over 2 years of age, is growing and maturing normally and the mother is in good health. Keywords
