Abstract
In this paper we present a theoretical study of the angular distribution of the fragments in the predissociation of diatomics. We have utilized scattering theory and the effective Hamiltonian approach to derive general expressions for the differential cross section and for the angular anistotropy under different excitation conditions. Keywords
