Abstract
A new leptospiral vaccine has been developed for use in man. The vaccine was prepared from Leptospira grown on a chemically defined medium without serum proteins. The vaccine was found to be highly protective in hamsters. It complied with standards of the Israeli Ministry of Health for safety, potency, and sterility and was approved by the Ministry for trial vaccination of human volunteers. Keywords
