Abstract
A general introduction showing the need for a regional structure, how the regional networks were set up, what they do and how they facilitate better library and information services (LIS) for their users, is followed by descriptions of the setting up, work and development of four different regions; South West England, Midland, Wales and Scotland. A list with contacts is given for all the regional networks, the NHS Regional Librarians Group (RLG) and the LINC Health Panel. Keywords
