Abstract
The pressure dependence of the transition temperature of high- superconductors is considered within the framework of the standard Bardeen-Cooper-Schrieffer (BCS) electron-phonon theory, the bidimensional BCS theory, the resonating-valence-bond theories, and various bipolaronic superconductivity models.
