Abstract
To prevent shrinkage through loss of CO2 and moisture in cold storage eggs, experiments were conducted on absorption of mineral oils and aluminum soap oil by the shell and membranes at atmospheric pressures and under partial vacuum. Eggs so treated lost 0.5-2% weight in 10 days as against 13% in untreated eggs. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
