Abstract
Perturbation theory is used to calculate the dipole polarizability of the 1s22s 2S states of the lithium isoelectronic sequence. Good agreement is obtained with the recent bruekner-Goldstone many-body calculation of Chang, Pu and Das (1968) on lithium.Keywords
