Abstract
The surface-induced nuclear-magnetization-resonance relaxation recovery of exchangeable water in cement pastes changes from a simple exponential form found in the "dormant" period to a "stretched"-exponential form in later stages of the hydration process. The results reflect the time evolution of the fractal geometry of hydrating cement gels and may help in differentiating between different possible models of cement hydration. Keywords
