Near Fatal Liver Dysfunction Secondary to Administration of Flutamide for Prostate Cancer

Abstract
A 66-year-old man with metastatic prostate cancer was treated with bilateral orchiectomy and 750 mg. flutamide per day. Near fatal liver dysfunction developed 10 weeks later. Flutamide was discontinued and 8 weeks later liver enzymes had returned to normal.Keywords
