Abstract
A profile scanning method for measuring the thyroid uptake of 99Tcm is described. This method has been found to give results-not significantly different from those obtained with a rectilinear scanning method. Two different focusing slit collimators have been investigated. The simpler collimator did not result in any loss of accuracy and had greater sensitivity than the more complex collimator. This test can be carried out with a dose of 200 μCi of 99TcmKeywords
