Abstract
Three major subjects are discussed: the thyroidal iodoproteins, the extrathyroidal iodoproteins of vertebrates, and the proteins involved in thyroid hormone transport. Immunological studies involving the iodoproteins are also considered in detail. The major effort has been to review the literature from 1950 to mid- 1959.Keywords
