Low-lying states inIn111andIn113

Abstract
Levels in In111 and In113 below 1.62 MeV were investigated via the (p,n) and (p,nγ) reactions on Cd111 and Cd113 targets for an incident energy range of 2.7 - 5.2 MeV. The neutron groups populating the low-lying states were studied by the time-of-flight method, and the deexcitation γ rays were studied with Ge(Li) detectors. Several new levels in In111 and In113 were established including low-spin positive-parity states having nanosecond half-lives. The Q value for the Cd111(p,n)In111 reaction was determined to be - 1.635 ± 0.020 MeV.
