Abstract
When studied by gel filtration, Zn in prostatic cytosol (105 g, 1 h) was associated with high (> 80,000), medium (3000-80,000) and low MW (< 3000) molecules in approximately equal proportions. The molecules of high and medium MW were not secreted into the prostatic fluid where all the Zn was associated with molecules of low MW (probably citric acid). After ejaculation much of the Zn is redistributed and becomes bound to molecules of high and medium MW of vesicular origin. This publication has 10 references indexed in Scilit:
