Abstract
The dynamical chiral-symmetry breaking, the light-meson spectrum, and the properties of the pion are investigated in the Nambu–Jona-Lasinio model. The time-dependent Hartree-Fock formalism is used. The pion dispersion relation is derived in a semiclassical approximation. The stationarity of the quark droplet matter is investigated in the Thomas-Fermi approximation. Keywords
