Abstract
Two new phenylpropanoid glycosides, named oleoaceteoside and oleoechinacoside, have been isolated from the fresh leaves of Syringa reticulata (Blume) Hara. These compounds were also detected in the methanolic extract of the leaves of Syringa vulgaris Linn. Their structures were elucidated on the basis of nuclear magnetic resonance, circular dichroism spectra and some other physicochemical evidence. Keywords
