Abstract
An intracavity, cw, dye-laser photothermal deflection (PTD) technique has been developed for gas-phase vibrational overtone spectroscopy. This new technique has a similar S/N ratio and significantly lower window noise than the intracavity photoacoustic technique under identical conditions. Keywords
