Abstract
A simplified procedure is described for radioimmunoassay of HGH in serum using 125I as a label and dextran-charcoal separation of antibody-bound from unbound HGH. Serum HGH levels were measured fasting and after insulin induced hypoglycemia in 4 normal subjects, 5 patients with hypopituitarism and 7 with acromegaly. These values agreed well with similar reports by other investigators. This publication has 9 references indexed in Scilit:
