Abstract
The Hamiltonian forms of the spin-zero and spin-one wave equations are obtained simultaneously by starting from the Duffin-Kemmer form of the equations using only algebraic properties of the matrices. From the mode of derivation, the Hamiltonian forms for all integral-spin equations of the Dirac-Fierz-Pauli type follow immediately.
