Abstract
A simple graphical method is described for determination of heat tolerance limits (HTL) for any situation in which air movement, metabolic heat production and clothing insulation are specified. HTL are presented as a function of operative temperature (abscissa) and water vapor pressure (ordinate). Comparison of results obtained graphically by this method with experimentally determined limits found in the literature shows good agreement. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
