Abstract
A technique is described for hypophysial stalk transection by a frontal supraorbital approach in young calves and heifers. The duration of the halothane anesthesia required for this surgical operation is 6 -7 hr. Recovery and survival rate during the postoperative period are related to a short period of retraction of the cerebral hemisphere. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
