Abstract
Ruderman-Kittel-Kasuya-Yosida interaction between localized spins is considered for various dimensionality structures of doped diluted magnetic semiconductors. The influence of this interaction on the temperature and magnetic-field dependencies of magnetization and spin splitting of the bands are evaluated in the mean-field approximation. The results show that the hole densities that can presently be achieved are sufficiently high to drive a paramagnetic-ferromagnetic phase transition in bulk and modulation-doped structures of II-VI diluted magnetic semiconductors. Keywords
