Effectiveness of Teaching in the Rehabilitation of Patients with Chronic Bronchitis and Emphysema

Abstract
Twenty patients with diagnosed chronic bronchitis and emphysema, who participated in a rehabilitation program that incorporated principles of adult education reported on their ability to recognize and treat symptoms of their disease. Significant (p<.05) increases in knowledge and skills were found among study subjects.
