Abstract
Primarily during the period 1969 to 1970 and in early 19741 was able to document, in Mexico, two forms of a game played with a solid rubber ball, called ulama. Evidence is presented that the roots of this game lie in the Precolumbian past. The two forms, both observed in the state of Sinaloa, are called ulama de antebrazo (ann-ulama) and ulama de cadera (hip-ulama) and are described. Keywords
