Abstract
Dynamic energy balance is a new technique for power system dynamic simulation. It requires about one tenth the computatioanl effort of a transient stability study yet gives similar results so far as frequency transients are concerned. Applications, methodology and comparison with a transient stability study are treated in this paper. Keywords
