Abstract
The steady state and dynamic equations of performance of three phase induction motors with asymmetrical rotor are derived. Rotor asymmetry of slip ring and squirrel cage machine is studied. Differential equations governing the behaviour of a three phase slip ring motor with asymmetrical rotor are solved using a digital computer. Keywords
